Watchlist Update: Amazon name-drop sends AutoStore soaring
A single job posting ignited the rally – and hinted that the world’s biggest e-commerce player may be gearing up for a major AutoStore rollout.
AutoStore (AUTO.OL) rallied this afternoon (29 October) after investors spotted a new Amazon job posting explicitly mentioning AutoStore by name.
The listing, titled Manager, New Tech Deployment (OMHS Integration & Deployment), describes a technical leader who will “lead our Project Execution team responsible for implementing advanced automation technologies across our network” and “structure and scale projects such as IBIS and AutoStore.”
That single sentence was enough to trigger a buying frenzy – and for good reason.
