Introducing the Gullinbursti Dividend Portfolio
The Norwegian equivalent of the Wall Street bull – except it's a golden boar, and it pays dividends.
In Norse mythology, Gullinbursti was a radiant boar forged by dwarves for Freyr — the god of abundance, sunshine, and good harvests. I've borrowed his name and spirit for our newest high-yield initiative on Norwegian Hidden Gems.
This isn’t just a portfolio. It’s a tribute to solid Norwegian companies that pay real cash to shareholders – often overlooked, often underpriced, but always interesting.
And while Wall Street has its bull, I’d like to think Norway’s golden dividend beast is a boar with glowing bristles and tusks full of yield.
The Gullinbursti Dividend Portfolio (as of April 22nd 2025)
(Prices as of April 22, 2025 – Dividends and yields are estimated annual figures)
📊 Estimated average annual dividend yield: 10.89%
📝 For tracking purposes, I will use the opening price on April 23, 2025 (tomorrow) as the portfolio’s official entry point. A dedicated Gullinbursti section will be published where you can follow performance over time.
Why These Companies?
High dividend yields – but not at the expense of quality
Solid companies in energy, finance, shipping, and software
Tactical mix of value, cash flow, and upside potential
I’ve already published more detailed takes on Panoro, Petronor, and DNO, and will cover the rest of the lineup in upcoming posts – including Pexip, Stolt-Nielsen and ABL Group.
I’ll also monitor earnings, flag risks, and track changes in dividend policy. And yes, I might also share mythologically inspired commentary from time to time. Because why not?
🔒 For Paying Subscribers:
All paying members get full access to the Watchlist Updates section – a curated stream of notes and signals on various Norwegian small caps I’m tracking. That includes stocks inside and outside of Gullinbursti, from dividend growers to value plays and post-turnaround ideas.
Paying members also have full access to the Earnings Call Summaries – concise, actionable highlights from quarterly earnings calls.
Follow the boar. It may not roar like a bull – but it brings the gold just the same.

Why not monster yields like HAUTO or WAWI?
This will at the very least win any coolest portfolio name competition in 2025.
